Revati Gangal

Born in 1981, Mumbai, Revati was passionate about drawing and painting since childhood. An alumna of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, she specialized in portraiture developing her own individualistic portrait-figurative style.

Her varied experiences in life about discovering her self, people, society, nature and her residential stints across different cities and countries have always been active elements in Revati's evolution as an artist.

Through art, she tries to tackle the questions regarding identity, religion, faith, desires and basic instincts.

Revati currently lives in Pune after spending a few years in Dubai, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Besides India, her paintings have been displayed at art galleries across the world’s major cities including Paris, London, Brussels, Dubai, Muscat, Doha and Manama.
